mount filesystems

unix and dos modes

Unix uses binary-mode: files are handles as they are. dos uses text-mode: Line-endings of text-files are converted to .

When working on dos then use text-mode as default.

When you mount a filesystem you can specify if you want to use test- or binary-mode.
